Debra C. Ezell

Debra Clayton Ezell began her collegiate studies at Texas Tech University and graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.

Mrs. Ezell started teaching as a graduate student at Sul Ross State University as a Botany Lab instructor in 1982-83, which sparked her interest in teaching. After a few years working as a lab technician for Texas A&M Extension service and Ste. Genevieve Winery, Mrs. Ezell began her life-long career in public education, all with
Fort Stockton ISD.

Mrs. Ezell taught 8th Grade Earth Science at Fort Stockton Middle School from 1987 until she moved to a district-wide position in Technology in 1999 as Technology Coordinator.  Mrs. Ezell feels fortunate to have the opportunity to oversee large technological advancements for the district over the last 10 years.  It has been very exciting and hugely rewarding. She loves her job.

Mrs. Ezell enjoys the solitude and beauty of the country. She and her husband spend as much time at the family ranch as they can when not in the office. She enjoys the beauty of the ranchland and loves being there. Her favorite pastime is hiking through the magnificent geologic wonders of Big Bend National Park and associated Chisos Mountains. She loves to listen to nature in its purest form, whether it be the wind blowing through trees or animals lurking about. She especially enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and visits the area as often as she can.

Mr. and Mrs. Ezell have 2 sons. The oldest lives and works in Austin, Texas and the youngest attends Texas State University in San Marcos. Both boys attended and graduated from Fort Stockton schools and were very active in athletics.
