These students received The Student of the Six Weeks Awards from the Fort Stockton Rotary Club for the first two grading periods of the 2008-09 school year. Jordan was honored for the 1st Six Weeks and Genna was honored for the 2nd Six Weeks.

Many FSHS students take part in our Industrial Technology programs. Our school won the 2008 Texas Technology Students Association State Competition for 3-A Schools held in Waco on May 9-10, 2008. This is the 4th year in a row that FSHS has won at the state level! Seventy-seven projects were awarded "Best in State" and many others won 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place ribbons.
