Our cheerleaders were busy on Friday, August 14th as they became carhops at Sonic Drive-In. All tips received will go into the cheerleading fund to help pay for uniforms, pompoms, flags and pep rally supplies. $155.00 was collected. Thanks, Fort Stockton!

   The FSHS Cheerleaders collected donations at the gate of the Panthers scrimmage on Thursday, August 20, 2009. $300.61 was given! All proceeds will be given to the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Benevolence Fund. This day has become known as "Our Day to Shine".
   The THSCA Benevolence fund was established to assist athletes and coaches with special needs or hardships. To date, 130 schools have participated in "Our Day to Shine" and have raised over $45,000. The THSCA has paid $24,000 to athletes and coaches with special needs, as well as a sizable donation to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.
   The Cheerleaders would like to thank everyone who contributed!
