   The Middle School golf tournaments originally scheduled for May 2nd and 9th were postponed due to the UIL decision to suspend events to prevent a swine flu outbreak. These tournaments will not be rescheduled.

Regional Tournament
  The Fort Stockton Varsity Boys Golf Team traveled to Lubbock on April 21st to participate in the Regional Championships. The tournament was held at the Meadowbrook Canyon Golf Course. Our team scores were 329 and 331 on the 2 days of the tournament for a total of 660 strokes. FS finished in 10th place, just ahead of Pecos.
  Individual scores for our golfers are:
Blace: 76 + 81 = 157
Brandon: 82 + 82 = 164
Lance: 87 + 81 = 168
Alonzo: 84 + 87 = 171
Derick: 93 + 89 = 182

District Tournament, Round Two
  The 2nd and final round of the District 4-3A Golf Tournament was played on Wednesday, April 15th, at the Emerald Springs Golf Course in Horizon City, Texas. The 2nd Round scores are listed below with the 2 day totals in parentheses. The ranking is based on the total score.

  The 1st round of the District 4-3A Golf Tournament was played on Monday, April 6th, at the Desert Pines Golf Course in Fort Stockton.

The Panthers participated in the San Angelo Golf Classic on March 13th and 14th. Our team ended in 12th place out of 19 schools. The following table has individual results.

The Varsity Panthers traveled to Lubbock on February 27-28, 2009. Individual stats are:

   Both the JV and Varsity Prowlers Golf Teams played in the Fort Stockton Invitational held on February 27-28, 2009. The Varsity Team came in 4th with a 2-day total of 889 strokes. Individual results are listed below.

   Our Prowlers traveled to the Alpine Invitational held February 16th at the Alpine Country Club. Eight teams played in the golf tournament: Alpine, Marathon, McCamey, Crane, Fort Davis, Kermit, Wink and Fort Stockton. FSHS finished 3rd with a team total of 482 strokes. Our next tournament is February 27th at the Fort Stockton Invitational.

   The Big Spring Invitational was held February 13 and 14 at the Big Spring Country Club. Seventeen teams participated. Our Prowlers finished 15th with a team total of 940 (467 + 473).
