FSHS students travelled to McCamey on Saturday, January 30th to compete against other area schools in UIL competition. Fort Stockton received second place overall. First Place Awards were earned by the Literary Criticism Team and the Science Team. |

| 2009 One Act Play |
2009 Academic & Literary Teams |
The cast and crew of the 2009 One-Act Play entitled "The Dancers" by Horton Foote. Miss Bailey was the director. The play was performed in competition on April 4th and April 11th.
Several awards were brought home including Best Actress (Bri); All-Star Cast (Erika and Meaghan); and Honorable Mention (Marenda, Gabriel, and Fernando). Others in the picture include Sabrina, Idaliz, Sophia, Jordan, Bethany, Nati and Alex. Nati and Alex operated the sound and lights.
