Hi, my name is Cody Aaron and I am so excited to be your Freshman Biology teacher at Fort Stockton High School. As someone who grew up in Fort Stockton, and walked the same hallways that you are going to be walking, I know the rush of emotions you are probably feeling. This is such an exciting time, and although you have probably already heard it a thousand times, these next four years are going to FLY by! 

I graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology. I have always been fascinated by the natural world and how living things work. I can't wait to share my passion for biology with you and help you discover the wonders of life.

I also love playing and watching tennis. I played at the collegiate level for four years, and I will be coaching at both the high school and the middle school. Tennis has opened many doors in my life, and it has taught me the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. If you are interested in joining the tennis team, please let me know.

My hobbies include traveling, hiking, and all things adventuring. I enjoy exploring new places and cultures, and seeing the amazing landscapes, wildlife, and phenomena that our planet has to offer. One of my most memorable experiences was living in Rome, Italy and playing for the Italian tennis federation through a Sports Science Masters program. It was an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the best players/coaches in the world and to immerse myself in the rich history and culture of Italy (the pizza wasn't too bad either). 

I'm looking forward to getting to know you and having a fun and productive year together. Biology should challenge you to be more creative, curious, and adventurous; therefore, one of my goals is to inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and adapt to new learning experiences.
