Hello, my name is Karen Caswell. I have taught 1st -12th graders over the past 12 years, including 5 years here at Fort Stockton Intermediate School. I came to Fort Stockton ISD as a 5th grade science teacher for three years, and am now teaching my second year of 4th grade English Language Arts and Reading. I look forward to working with students this year, guiding them to improve their skills and knowledge, so they can be successful in their academics.

I am from Fort Davis, TX and recently celebrated 25 years of marriage to my husband, Tim.  My pride and joy are my 3 kids... Becky, Timothy, & Ashley. They are all grown, and two are in college.  My hobbies include reading, spending time with family, and volunteering at various events.  

My favorite quote is, "If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life."  Well, I love teaching, and look forward to supporting students who grow up as life-long learners.
