This Week: Activities in Maker Space

Activities Students can choose to work on during Maker Space

What is Maker Space

  • Let me tell you a little bit about MAKERSPACE, in this classroom students participate in a variety of learning.
The goal is to work together to learn, collaborate, and share. Most importantly, makerspaces allow us to explore, create new things, or improve things that already exist.
S.T.E.M. is a big part of our activities, STEM is an abbreviation that stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
STEM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where academic concepts are coupled with real-world lessons.
Intermediate Students apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in contexts that make connections between the classroom and the world around them.

Using the engineering design process, students identify problems, develop possible solutions, and test and evaluate solutions.

Here in MAKERSPACE the possibilities are endless......
