Greetings! I am Mr. Jones - English Language Arts and Reading teacher for Fort Stockton Middle School. I have been teaching for 24 years, and 2023-24 will be my 12th year with Fort Stockton ISD. In addition to teaching 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading, I am also the yearbook adviser, guiding students to produce the best yearbook in West Texas.

I am the father of two wonderful children - KaLeigh, who is a junior at Texas Tech, and Parker, in the 12th grade attending Paschal High School in Fort Worth. I am also married to my best friend, Krista. Before I became a teacher, I served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Hawaii. After my time in the military was up, I moved back to Alpine and attended Sul Ross State University, earning my bachelor's degree in 1997. I am passionate about several things - Star Wars, Marvel Comics, disc golf, and my family. 

In my years of teaching, I have discovered a very important truth - never give up and always move forward.
