Mrs. Michelle Natera

I was born and raised in Marathon, TX. After 20+ years my husband Ernesto retired from the US Navy in 2008.  We moved to Fort Stockton to be closer to family.  I have a daughter Marenda who received her BA in voice performance from Texas Tech and her Masters in voice performance from LSU in Baton Rouge.  She will be attending UT Law School in Austin this fall.  I have a son Gabriel. who received his BA in Sociology from Texas Tech.  He is working on getting his private pilots license and his next step is to become a navy pilot.  My hobbies are sewing, jewelry making, and all kinds of crafts.  My favorite thing to do is listening to my daughter, son, niece, and nephew sing.

While my dreams were to become an architect, those were not God's plans for me.  I love teaching Math and am looking forward to returning to the classroom this year.

I taught 4th and 5th grade Math for 8 years at Intermediate.  2 years of Math & Science and 4 years of Fine Arts at Apache Elementary.  This is my 15th year teaching at Fort Stockton ISD and my 1st year as a 3rd Grade Math teacher at Alamo Elementary.
