Mr. Conger is the Director of Percussion for FSISD and the Assistant Middle School Band Director and going on his sixth year of teaching. Mr. Conger's past students include All-Region Band qualifiers;Texas State Solo and Ensemble, Division 1 qualifiers; and marching/concert bands that haver earned UIL Superior ratiings.

Mr. Conger is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University (Bachelor of Music Education) and of Texas Woman's University (Master of Arts in Music Education) where he had many opportunities to perform in both large and small/chamber ensembles, and was able to present his research material at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) annual conference in 2018.
