Prowler Varsity Volleyball finishes San Angelo Tournament in Silver Bracket
San Angelo, Texas (Aug. 20, 2023)- The Fort Stockton Prowler Volleyball varsity team traveled to San Angelo to compete in the annual Nita Vannoy Memorial Tournament.
Pool play for the Prowlers kicked off on Friday, Aug. 18 at San Angelo Central High School. Pool play scores are as follows: Del Rio 25-23, 25-23; Plainview 21-25, 25-20, 23-25; and San Angelo Central 14-25, 14-25.
Seeding from pool play placed the Prowlers in the silver bracket, which took place at Lakeview High School. In bracket play, the Prowlers dropped one game and we’re victorious to conclude their tournament run. Scores and opponents include:
Horizon 25-11, 25-22; Ropes 25-14, 25-18; and Cedar Hill 13-25, 16-25.
The Prowlers will now look ahead to Aug. 25-26, when they host their annual Comanche Classic. Games are set to take place at Fort Stockton High School.
