Fort Stockton, Texas (Sept. 12, 2023)-- The Fort Stockton Prowlers hosted Midland High School on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Both sub-varsity and varsity teams competed in front of a stellar Prowler Volleyball crowd. 

 

Varsity fell to the Lady Bulldogs 12-25, 20-25 and 15-25. Defensively the team showed great improvement. Aryanna Gonzalez and Ivanna Ortiz tallied 16 digs each. Offensively the Prowlers’ highest achieved was Amaya Urias with 6 kills. Jocelynn Arcides, Mia Garcia and Ivanna Ortiz each added 3 kills. Alyssa Rangel ran the offense with 10 assists. 

 

The junior varsity team fell to Midland High in three sets, while the freshman squad fell to a tough Midland High squad in two. 

 

Up next for the Prowlers is a game at Midland Christian High School. The program is set to compete on Friday, Sept. 15.
