Friday, 2/16/24:
Varsity Panther Tennis team traveled to Big Lake as well to continue to build on their success, and coming home with 3 medalist. Just like Thursday, full brackets, 18 schools, and plenty of great competition, your Panthers showed they are no one to take for granted. Entries in all 5 brackets, all individual teams were able to come home with multiple wins. Being highlighted were senior power duo of Athena Gomez and Jaslyn Pacheco coming home with a silver medal, falling to TAPPS state qualifiers out of Midland Christian in the finals. Another familiar name that continued to build confidence and finding her way to the final was girls singles, Jaslene Tijerina. Tijerina is coming home with silver after falling to Big Lakes top singles player.

The Panther Tennis team now looks to show out on their newly resurfaced courts next week for their annual home tournament, the Comanche Classic.
