Steer Invitational

This past weekend the Panther and prowler cross country teams made their way to Big Spring to participate in the Steer Invitational. Currently, official times have not been posted but will forward those as soon as they become available. Ali Jackson won the high school girls division with a first place finish on a difficult two mile course. Eighth-grader Bradalay Jimenez won the silver medal in the middle school girls division with a strong finish. Middle school girls Alisha Padilla, Izabella Bolivar, and Serenidad Vasquez improved on the difficult two-mile course that was filled with creek beds and high-degree inclined hills. Other high school prowlers were Summer Hinojos, Paulina Hernandez, Natalie Edwards, Marlayna Salmon, and Karen Villanueva. Panther boys were led on the course by sophomore Diego Ronquillo and Junior Khalil Jackson. Julian Vasquez and Angel Marquez lead the way for the middle school Panthers. The cross country teams will participate in the district cross country meet next Monday, October 9, 20023 in Andrew, Texas at the golf course. Times are as follows:
