Monahans Invitational
Blue Wave competed in the Monahans Invitational on October 28, 2023. The team once again showed grit and determination to work on their times and events placing in 4th place overall with 262 points out of 10 teams!!
The MVP of the meet is Kassidy Pacheco with 27 individual points and placing 6th in the 50 Free and 5th in the 100 free dropping 12 seconds alone on that race!
Highlights of the meet:
In an event with 22 swimmers, Kassidy Pacheco, Dustee Dale, and Emmry Warren all placed in the top 8 in the 50 Freestyle. Just missing the top 8 with 9th place was newcomer Corime Espinoza.
200 Boys Medley Relay placed 7th.
200 Girls Freestyle Relay placed 5th.
200 Boys Freestyle Relay placed 7th.
100 Breastroke Dustee Dale placed 8th.
400 Boys Freestyle Relay placed 8th.
Everyone did great and so proud of our our Blue Wave swimmers! Our next meet is in Pecos on November 11th. LET'S GO BLUE WAVE!!
