Pecos Invitational
Blue Wave had an outstanding meet on Saturday, November 11th! The girls' team placed 3rd overall scoring 199 points, but that is not all! Blue Wave team combined placed 3rd overall with 354 points! This team has not had this kind of success since the 2019-2020 season. We are all so proud of these swimmers who have shown the #teamneverquit attitude that is being instilled in our athletic program as a whole.
Highlights:
All Three girls' and boys' A and B relays placed in the top 8.
Top 8 finishers:
200 Freestyle were Andrew Black, Jose Olvera, Asher Palacios, and Laeila Hernandez.
50 Free were Dustee Dale, Jailyn Cedillos, Rylan Jimenez, and Julian Ontiveros.
100 Freestyle were Julian Ontiveros, Daniel Perez, Rylan Jimenez, Jailyn Cedillos, and Abby Bennett.
100 Backstroke were Laeila Hernandez and Alexandro Montoya.
100 breaststroke were Dustee Dale, Emmry Warren, and Christian "Teddy" Soto.
Blue Wave's next meet is December 2nd hosted by Odessa Permian.
