Fort Stockton, Texas (Feb. 10, 2024)- Our Panther and Prowler golf teams made an impressive showing at the Pecos Invitational. A total of eighteen Panther and Prowler kids participated in the golf tournament, proudly representing our community on the course. 

During the tournament, a memorable moment unfolded as one of our female athletes, Valeria Marquez, expertly executed a hole-in-one, adding an exciting twist to the tournament. Every one of our nine girls demonstrated strong finishes throughout the entirety of the two-day tournament.

 Our Panthers overcame a daunting 20-stroke deficit on the first day of the golf tournament. Despite the initial setback, our Panthers displayed resilience and determination, mounting a spectacular comeback on day two to claim first place in the Pecos Invitational!   They were the definition of Team Never Quit. The Panther team consisted of Ejay Ortiz, Bradye Barragan, Cody Young, Rylee Muniz, and Rylan Nunez. Ejay Ortiz distinguished themselves as the standout performer, achieving an impressive second-place finish individually.

Our next golf tournament presents an exciting opportunity as it will be held at our home course. Come support our Panthers and Prowlers on February 16-17!
