Fort Stockton, Texas (Feb. 17, 2024)- Our Panther and Prowler golf teams made an impressive showing at the Fort Stockton Invitational. A total of twenty-three Panther and Prowler kids participated in the golf tournament, proudly representing our community on the course.

Our Prowlers golf team secured third place in the tournament! Our girls' teams consist of Evelynn Baiza, Kaelynn Calderon, Erika Salgado, Lahela Urias, and Jaelynn Tapp. Several players achieved their personal best scores during the competition. On day one of the tournament, Evenlynn Baiza achieved a score of 108, followed by an improvement to 107 on day two. Kaelynn Calderon achieved her personal best with an impressive score of 109.

 Our Panthers initially held onto the second-place position on day one but surged ahead to claim first place on day two with an accumulated score of 698.  For two weeks straight, our boys' team has proven their dominance by earning first place. Ejay Ortiz, Rylee Muniz, Cody Young, Bradye Barragan, and Damian Gonzalez have played an integral role in our team's back-to-back victories. Amongst a field of 53 competitors, Ejay Ortiz stood out as the ultimate victor, securing first place shooting an 83 on day one and a 79 day two. 

We are incredibly proud of our players, especially considering they performed admirably in 30-degree weather. Up next for the Panthers will be Monday in the McCamey Invitational. Our Prowlers will be competing Friday and Saturday in the Tall City golf tournament. #PantherandProwlerFight #TNQ
