The Panthers had their opening day and start of the season at home against the Brownfield Cubs. The Cubs would put up 2 runs to start off, but the Panthers would answer back right away with 3 runs to make the score 3-2. The panthers would then put up more runs throughout 3 more innings of play and the final score would be 17-2. Jondrey Reyes, Jorrel Tapp, and Ayden Gonzales each threw beautifully on the mound and the whole team each got to take a hit to give the offense some insurance. The panthers fought with true heart and had great focus on the field. The panthers will travel to Ozona for there first tournament of the season looking to bring the 1st place trophy back again this year. There first game will be against Forsan on Thursday at 12:30 PM.
