Varsity @ Highway 214 Classic Tournament
This past weekend the Panther baseball team competed in the Highway 214 Classic Tournament in Seminole. On Thursday, the Panthers defeated Brownfield 7-5, and lost to Amarillo High 2-12. On Saturday, the Panthers defeated Muleshoe 15-0 and defeated Kress 17-6. Overall the Panthers went 3-1 in the wood bat tournament. There were a lot of exciting plays made by every player throughout the tournament. Xzavaier Dominguez had 2 home runs in one game and our defense only had 3 errors throughout the tournament.
The JV-Blue and JV-White both competed in the Pecos tournament. The JV-Blue with a game being cancelled due to the weather went 2-1 and the JV-White went 2-2. It was a good weekend for the Panther baseball program.
On Tuesday March 5th the Varsity and the JV-Blue will travel to Big Spring.
