Prowlers vs. Presidio

The yellow ball season is officially here with games that count toward your overall record. The "Blue Storm" is forming over Fort Stockton and headed to all areas of West Texas. Prowler Softball started the season in Presidio last Tuesday night with the Varsity defeating the Blue Devils 7-3. Aryanna Gonzalez pitched five innings struck out four and only surrendered two hits and no runs. Freshmen Gabby Madrid came in and finished the game in the circle. Coach Glasscock stated, "I was pleased with how our pitching competed and the first game of the season working through nerves and playing another team with a win or loss on the line." Offensively it was a slow night at the plate but not for Mia Garcia who went three for four with three doubles, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Kriselda Porras added a triple and scored two runs and Aryanna Gonzalez and Ivanna Oritz added singles which helped in the victory. Nevaeh Morales and Aubrie Salgado picked up RBI's to help the prowlers secure the win. In the JV game, Yareli Palacios hit a home run that NASA can confirm just landed and Marlayna Salmon picked up the win in the circle for a easy 12-1 victory over Presidio.
