Our Prowler JV Softball Girls participated in the Pecos Spring Fling Tournament this past weekend. Prowlers faced the Lady Eagles in the first game of the tournament and defeated the Eagles 6-3. In the second game Prowlers went against the Monahans Lady Loboes where they struggled early in the game at the plate. Prowlers came around late in the 3rd and 4th inning. It was a close game but came up short with a score of 4-3. Prowlers continued the tournament on Saturday facing San Angelo Lakeview. The Prowlers only allowed two runs in the first inning the entire game. Prowlers played great offense scoring the allowed 5 runs each inning ending the game with a score of 15-2. Their final game of the tournament was against Maria. Prowlers gave up the one and only run for Maria in the first inning.  At bat Prowlers continued strong at the plate scoring 5 runs each each inning ending the game with a score of 10-1. Overall Prowlers had a great weekend of softball. As we continue to work hard on a daily basis in practice and games as a team we will continue to learn, grow and continue the Prowler fight!! The Prowlers will play in the Monahans tournament this weekend Thursday-Saturday. Go Prowlers!
