The week started off with a split at Odessa Permian with the Varsity losing 15-4 and JV winning 16-7. The Varsity Prowlers started the top half of the first inning with patience and broke out to a 4-0 lead; however Permian would respond and plate four runs of their own in the bottom half of the first. Permian would tack on two more runs in the second and fourth innings along with seven runs in the bottom half of the fifth to win 15-4. Bright spots for the Prowlers were Aryanna Gonzalez who had two hits and one RBI and Mia Garcia who had one hit, one walk and one RBI. Ivanna Ortiz and Gabby Madrid collected a walk and Kriselda Porras added an RBI to conclude the offense for the game. Coach Glasscock stated "There is no doubt that we had a tough night but with every win and loss you learn something about your team and you continue to work everyday to get better."
