The Varsity Prowlers would respond in a big way as they participated in the West Texas Classic in Midland and finished the tournament 6-0. The Prowlers on Friday defeated Presidio 8-2, Alpine 4-2 and Colorado City 11-9 and returned on Saturday with ten players due to other school events and beat Plainview 4-2, Post 15-0 and Brownfield 14-1. "This tournament the ladies showed GRIT and worked through some difficult situations and I am extremely proud of them because they could have folded under the pressure. But as we know these Prowlers do not give up and the Team Never Quit motto was in full force as they continued to mow down the competition." Glasscock stated. The Prowlers will continue the season on the road versus San Angelo Lakeview on Tuesday, February 27th and conclude the tournament season in Brownfield on Thursday, February 29-March 2nd.
